One of the aims of the inaugural Progress Pioneers Summit is to showcase the work of Progress Together members and how they have contributed in the categories listed below.

Categories for recognition

LEADERSHIP

Change starts at the top. The financial services sector needs senior leaders to embrace socio-economic diversity and ensure change happens.

This category will recognise companies that:

  • Have senior leaders who are setting examples and championing socio-economic diversity
  • Hold senior leaders to account and ensure they are accountable for change
  • Are actively arranging speaking engagements for senior colleagues to promote the importance of socio-economic diversity
  • Have leaders who role model inclusive behaviours and challenge those who don’t
  • Have leaders who sponsor colleagues from lower socio-economic backgrounds to ensure they get visibility
  • Have demonstrated great storytelling at senior levels

  • Considering intersectionality in meeting targets to ensure it is not the same individuals meeting various targets
  • Creating an accountability framework for leaders to link achieving targets to their performance
