Progress Together’s 2025 Impact Report shows senior leaders from lower socio-economic backgrounds rose from 26% in 2023 to 28% in 2024 among members, with over three quarters advancing initiatives like targeted sponsorship. Now, 92% of member companies collect socio-economic background data, representing over 375,000 employees.

Making the Invisible Visible is a new Progress Together campaign that highlights the impact of socio economic background on careers in financial services, and the change already under way. It brings together lived experience stories, firm level achievements and a long term vision for 2050 to show what is possible when performance, not privilege, drives progression.
